GB Studio Pixel Jam 2024 submission "Magical Girl Transformation"

Since I'm learning pixel art and GB Studio in order to make my own game (Which will one day be sold her), I thought I'd enter GB Studio's Pixel Jam 2024 with some new art.

This magical girl transformation is inspired by my own personal journey to transition to womanhood. I often like to think of my ideal form as a magical girl, like Sailor Moon, for example. The shadowy, glitchy character on the left is my male form. Think of it like a Heartless from Kingdom Hearts, I suppose.

I had to reduce a lot of detail in my original art piece to fit the amount of unique 8x8 pixel tile limit for the Jam, so I've also uploaded my original art from before I realized there was a limit on unique tiles. I consider that the true version of the drawing, even if it isn't qualified for the Jam like that.

Please do not use this art in any Game Boy software other than the GB Studio Pixel Jam 2024 gallery.
